Here Vito is opening presents on his first birthday. To further mark the day he walked across the room for the first time. I made a cake decorated with Big Bird, his favorite Sesame Street character, and invited all the family over. His grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all came. Luckily our apartment is huge and there was no problem accommodating everyone. We gave him a piece of cake and he promptly covered his face with it. He got lots of nice clothes and toys and really seemed to enjoy all the attention. I can't believe he is a year old already.

Happy Birthday!
